Juice Cleanse Day 1

All I can say is OMG after this morning! Granted, I said we could do anything we put our minds to... The Clean Slate juice (like the Master Cleanse juice plus cayenne pepper) was hard to get down the pipe. Patrick with SFM agreed that it can be difficult however, the benefits are well worth it.

So... I thought I would try the second juice. It is called Smooth Hydration and has cucumber, coconut water, kale, apple, and aloe. This one was hard to get down the pipe as well (I know not a way to sell the cleanse), but for a different reason.

I think the first juice was difficult because of the vinegar. I'm not a huge fan of vinegar and the cayenne definitely provided a kick at the back of the throat. This second juice... if you LOVE cucumber, this is for you! I am beginning to think my taste buds are too unhealthy for this cleanse. :-/ My next (and third) juice is the Sweet Beet. Although I am 30 years old, I have never consumed beet before. I have seen it in recipes for a "healthy" chocolate cake so I assume it has a sweet flavor to it. We will find out soon!
